UPBUILD CONSTRUCTIONS OFFICE
UpBuild Constructions recently completed the design and construct stage of their very own office facility right here in Davistown.
Dan wanted to portray his love of artistic practical design in the way of recycled products, along with the flare that industrial style can bring to a space without compromising on practicality and creative design.
The lower half of the internal walls were clad with a treated pine V-groove panelling system. The selected panelling is great for high traffic flow as it limits the usual marks made by bumps and knocks.
The benchtops held some sentiment to Dan, as they were milled from a felled White Canadian Cedar tree that had to be removed whilst demolishing a property that his father was working on. The fact that the life and love of this beautiful tree would continue to bring its story and charm ongoing was comforting for the original owners. The Canadian Cedar slabs were sanded, polished and set into position. The joinery was specifically designed to suit UpBuild’s needs within the office.
A building plan display table area and storage unit, along with cupboards and drawers suitable for UpBuild’s office needs, were designed and constructed out of melamine to blend with the timber, concrete and industrial theme.
The Terrazzo style polished concrete floor with under floor heating offered strong resistance to high traffic flow, is easy to keep clean and it complimented the industrial theme.
